Join award-winning writer and podcaster Debra Freeman, along with chef and James Beard Award-nominated cookbook author Adrienne Cheatham and James Beard Award-nominated chef and restaurateur Sohui Kim, for the premiere of Finding Edna Lewis, the first major documentary on the groundbreaking chef who changed the narrative of American Southern food.
The evening will begin with beverages and hors d'oeuvre from chef Sohui Kim of Gage & Tollner, the historic Brooklyn restaurant where Edna Lewis served as chef from 1988-1992. After the reception, guests will have the opportunity to view the premiere of Finding Edna Lewis, followed by a panel discussion with chef Cheatham, chef Kim, and Debra Freeman, executive producer of the documentary.
