Get swept away to the dreamy oceanfront dining experience of the Miami Beaches at this Mediterranean-style dinner featuring the seafood-centric dishes and pasta “fatta in casa” of Lido Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel at the Surf Club. In the adept hands of Florence-native chef Marco Calenzo, guests will dine on refined Italian creations from scampi with langoustines to Wagyu rib-eye. After an evening of decadent and thoughtful dishes by this imaginative chef, guests will be eager to secure a trip to the Surf Club to savor another taste and dive into its history.

About Chef Marco Calenzo: 
A childhood in Florence, Italy, a city synonymous with art and culture, together with growing up in a family with a strong knowledge in produce, allowed chef Marco Calenzo to build since a young age a passion for transmitting his country’s cuisine, with great respect for seasonality of ingredients. After spending years in Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, London, and Japan, he became executive chef at Lido Restaurant at the Surf Club in 2023. His distinctive style transmits a fresh perspective on classic Mediterranean dishes with a predominant focus on Italian cuisine with Japanese influence.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.

James Beard Foundation events permit guests age 21 years and older to attend events where alcoholic beverages are served.

Event Policy

Reservation Policy:

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
