Located within Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Adorn Restaurant showcases globally inspired, ingredient-driven menus illuminated by modern techniques that take the familiar and adorn it with unexpected flavors and presentations. At this one-night-only popup of Adorn in New York City, executive chef Richie Farina (Moto, Ever, Monteverde) has designed a refined five-course menu that puts a spotlight on the exquisite restaurant’s whimsical offerings with its signature surprises.

About Chef Richie Farina: 

Chef Richie Farina brings more than two decades of culinary experience to his role as executive chef of Adorn Bar & Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. Chef Farina was born in Staten Island, New York, he and began his culinary career at the age of 16 as a pizza maker in Florida. He went on to attend Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Culinary Arts. He moved to Chicago where he honed his molecular gastronomy skills and flexed his creativity as executive chef at one-Michelin-starred Moto. Through his work at notable fine dining and tasting menu concepts, including Monteverde and Ever, chef Farina developed a fun and whimsical cooking style which resulted in the award-winning dishes that he's known for today. Chef Farina was the host of Cooking Channel show, Carnival Kings, and has also been featured on Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, Top Chef, Iron Chef America, Cutthroat Kitchen, Bizarre Foods, and more. Chef Farina oversees the entirety of culinary operations at Adorn Bar & Restaurant.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.

James Beard Foundation events permit guests age 21 years and older to attend events where alcoholic beverages are served.

Event Policy

Reservation Policy:

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
