New York City is getting a taste of the exciting Osteria Mozza residency currently underway at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai. This unique on-site restaurant is an expression of James Beard Award–winning chef and star of Chef’s Table Nancy Silverton, who transports the L.A. vibe to Hawaii’s Lanai with a trio of her Italian eateries: Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza, and chi SPACCA.
At this dinner, executive chef Eli Anderson, mentee of Nancy Silverton, shares a multi-course menu that highlights traditional Italian cuisine combined with seasonal island ingredients from Hawaii. About Eli Anderson:
Born in Townsend, Montana and raised primarily in Indonesia, Eli Anderson has travelled extensively, developing his palate from a very young age. He received his culinary degree with high honors during his four years living in Portland, Oregon. Across his career, he’s has worked for a number of renowned chefs such as Nancy Silverton, Thomas Keller, and Davide Oldani, and has international experience working in Hong Kong, Italy, Sweden, Brazil, and Mexico.
Chef Anderson loves the pureness of Italian cuisine and believes in accentuating the natural beauty and flavors of food without too much manipulation, something he shares with one of his biggest mentors, Nancy Silverton.

Osteria Mozza Residency is an expression of renowned chef Nancy Silverton, bringing the relaxed vibe of Los Angeles to Hawai'i with a blend of favorite eateries Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza, and chi SPACCA. The dinner menu showcases traditional Italian cuisine with fresh and seasonal island ingredients. Chef Eli Anderson leads the culinary team, presenting favorites as well as new dishes with a nod to local products.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.

James Beard Foundation events permit guests age 21 years and older to attend events where alcoholic beverages are served.

Reservation Policy:

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
