Miami’s Celebrated Chef Michael Schwartz Teams Up with North Fork Vintner Mark Tobin

When you think of the Miami dining scene, it’s hard not to turn your thoughts to chef Michael Schwartz and his signature Design District restaurant, Michael’s Genuine® Food & Drink. The nationally recognized chef, author, and James Beard Award winner® has had diners flocking to his collection of South Florida restaurants since 2007.
We are thrilled to bring together chef Schwartz and notable North Fork vintner Mark Tobin of Southhold’s Mattebella Vineyards who will be showcasing his yet-to-be-released 2014 Mattebella Rolima. Together, this powerhouse duo has designed an exceptional wine dinner that will surely take the concept of food and wine pairing to another stratosphere.
Joining chef Schwartz in the kitchen will be Michael's Genuine Food & Drink chef Randy Zuniga, and chef Schwartz's daughter Lua, head baker at Chicago's Floriole.

The Philadelphia-born owner of The Genuine Hospitality Group, James Beard Award–winning chef, and cookbook author, Michael Schwartz is the face of the South Florida restaurant industry and a nationally recognized celebrity chef. Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
