The winner of four James Beard Awards including Outstanding Chef and Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic, Michael Solomonov is revered as a champion of Israel's extraordinarily diverse culinary landscape. As the chef and co-owner of multiple restaurants in Philadelphia, New York City, and Miami, Solomonov’s food is a reflection of his upbringing in Israel combined with the local flavors and seasonal influences of the cities his restaurants lie. Recently, he opened a Brooklyn location of K’Far (meaning village) an all-day culinary destination that pays homage to his hometown of K’Far Saba in Israel.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
James Beard Foundation events permit guests age 21 years and older to attend events where alcoholic beverages are served.
