Doosra makes modern Indian snack mixes that deliver nostalgia to the South Asian diaspora while introducing the Indian snack aisle to the rest of America. Their award-winning "The Mix" is a sweet & savory blend of spiced bondi (crispy chickpea flour puffs), roasted peanuts, and caramelized white chocolate that's great on its own, as a topping for yogurt, oatmeal, and ice cream or as a beverage pairing with chai or your favorite happy hour drink.

About Kartik Das:
Kartik, the founder of doosra, loves to snack. He grew up in Singapore, and during his year-end holidays, he'd visit family in India. His favorite time of day was chai time. Not because of the chai or other beverages on offer, but because of the large array of snacks. He used to pair the sweet stuff with the spicy mixtures or savory crunchy bites (murukku) because he loved sweet & savory combinations; they excited him.
Fast forward 20+ years and after he left corporate America and looked for his little space in the food world, he found himself thinking back to those sweet & savory combinations. While Chicago-style popcorn existed, nothing in the Indian snack space had scratched that itch. So several over-complicated mixes later, his original white chocolate boondi mix was born under the label “kitchpaps.” He tested, learned, and then founded doosra.
