A Talk, Signing, and Wine Tasting with the James Beard Award–Winning Author of A Season for That

25 11th Ave, New York, NY 10011, USA

Named one of Food & Wine's 12 Favorite Food Books this Summer, A Season For That is the true story of one man’s attempt to leave ordinary life behind and become somebody better in a new country. Written by Steve Hoffman, winner of the James Beard M.F.K. Fisher Distinguished Writing Award, this extraordinary memoiris Hoffman’s story of upending his family from Minnesota to a tiny Languedoc winemaking village in Southern France for a six-month sojourn. Idyllic as it sounds, nothing is as expected. Join Steve in conversation with New York Times food reporter, Julia Moskin, for a discussion about memoir writing, France, food, and family. A selection of wines made by Thierry Rodriguez, a renowned Languedoc winemaker featured prominently in the book, will be available to taste.
Copies of A Season for That by Steve Hoffman are available for purchase with tickets or at the event from our friends as Kitchen Arts & Letters.
