The author of twelve cookbooks, most of them focused on Jewish cuisine in the United States, Israel, France, and other parts of the globe, Joan Nathan has spent a lifetime cooking and studying Jewish foodways. Her latest book, My Life in Recipes, is both a memoir and a cookbook that uses recipes to look back at her life and family history—and at her personal journey discovering Jewish cuisine from around the world.
Moderated by JBF's Sari Kamin, join us for an evening of conversation and bites as Joan reflects on the experiences and flavors that have culminated in an extraordinary lifetime of recipes.

Joan Nathan is a frequent contributor to the New York Times and other publications. She is the author of twelve books, including Jewish Cooking in America and The New American Cooking, both of which won James Beard Awards and IACP Awards.
