Kick off the new year with a tasting of innovative booze-free craft cocktails from Curious Elixirs. Inspired by classics like Italy’s famed spritz and the on-point spicy margarita, Curious Elixirs are bespoke, organic, non-alcoholic beverages that channel the ritual and enjoyment of relaxed drinking.
Each beverage will be thoughtfully paired with a bite from chef Rafal Maslankiewicz of Brooklyn’s Ikigai, a not-for-profit restaurant benefitting Rescuing Leftover Cuisine. Ikigai's reimagined Japanese kaiseki cuisine adds inflections of chef Maslankiewicz's Polish heritage. In crafting a menu to pair with the cocktails, chef Maslankiewicz has considered the unique ingredients of each drink to create a customized complementary flavor experience.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
