August 11, 4:00 P.M. Beverage Seminar: A Tasting of German Wines and Hawaiian Cuisine with Amy Waller and Jin Ahn

August 11, 2024 04:00 PM

Learn About Wines from The German Wine Collection Paired with Bites from Noreetuh

25 11th Ave, New York, NY 10011, USA

The German Wine Collection is on a mission to introduce consumers to the breadth of German wines. From delicate Pinot Noir to electrifying Silvaner, German wine is so much more than just stereotypical sweet Riesling. In fact, The German Wine Collection is committed to showcasing producers whose focus is exclusively on dry, terroir-driven Rieslings that are crisp, elegant, and refreshing. Perfect for hot summer days, German wines also happen to pair extremely well with the umami-forward flavors found in many Asian cuisines. Jin Ahn, general manager and co-owner of Hawaiian restaurant Noreetuh, has created an award-winning wine list that complements their salty, spicy, and unctuous dishes. Amy Waller of The German Wine Collection and Jin Ahn have created an exclusive experience that pairs the flavors of German wines with an assortment of Hawaiian bites. Head to Platform for the unique opportunity to expand your palate and learn from two industry experts.
